Found it! It’s a product called Starpath from a UK company called Pro-Teq. No details on durability or how long the UV-absorbing materials will last.
Man, I wish this was around nine years ago when I was in grad school. It would have made on of my outdoor lighting projects much more feasible.
I’ve been looking for this light for a couple of years now. I found it while I was working at Lightmakers, and we even specc’ed it out for a client’s indoor pool, but by the time I left we still hadn’t been able to track down the manufacturer.
