The Dark Knight
Saw The Dark Knight this afternoon. At first Gill was going to go with me in the evening but after reading some reviews I though maybe I should see it alone. On the one hand I’m glad I did because I know it would’ve disturbed her and I’d end up getting no sleep tonight. On the other hand it disturbed me and I’m not getting any sleep.
I can totally see why Heath Ledger turned to sleeping pills after playing the Joker.
Long, but beautifully shot and put together. If I had to do the elevator pitch, I’d say it’s the best bits of Apocalypse Now with the sadness and loss of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, all of it thown on top of Fight Club. I’ll be thinking about this one for days.

Gill and I heard this song on the radio a few days ago but didn’t catch the artist name. This morning I heard it again and caught the singer’s name, so now we can all enjoy it.
