Holy crap on a stick!
I was leafing through yesterdays’ mail and saw the latest issue of Wired in the pile – it looks like some interesting articles, but nothing I’m going to stop what I’m doing to read. Setting the magazine down I saw the ad on the back cover for a new Discovery Channel series called One Way Out. The bald guy tied up in chains sitting in the barrel looks familiar. Then I read the copy and find out it’s a show about escape.
Holy crap, it’s John Goodwin! I went to school with that guy!
And holy crap again, it’s co-hosted by Mike Nelson. I also went to school with that guy.
Way too awesome

In my nightmares…
Michael Feldman and Delilah have a child who also goes into radio. He’d take callers, start to tell sappy stories in response, and then stop; but the audience would applaud and laugh even though he never finished the story.
Writer’s Block: Doctor Who?
Top choices:
Richard Coyle – It’s a shame he and Steven Moffat parted on such bad terms. I think he’d have made an excellent Doctor; quirky, yet with real passion.
Patterson Joseph – Would have been brilliant. A strong traditional choice with a nice amount of gravitas.
Jack Davenport – I think he’d have done fine but I’d never be able to take him seriously in the role.
Hugh Jackman – Action movie Doctor wouldn’t be the end of the world.
Bill Nighy – Creepy wise old man portrayal but with a good sense of humor about him. Kind of a more powerful, more self-assured Slartibartfast.
Lenny Henry – A more comic choice, a good way to transition from the lightheartedness of the Tenant years.
