Still working on the mega-posts for Scotland and Camelot, but I’ll leave you all with this thought: A couple nights ago we watched Clue on Netflix, and Gill wondered if there was any Clue/Rocky Horror Picture Show crossover fanfic. My cursory look through the internet says no. So I wonder, why not?

Camelot! Camelot!
I’m still wickedly busy finishing up Camelot (I still haven’t even finished my Scotland report) but I wanted to show silverflight8 one of the trees. All in all, I’m quite proud of the work I’ve done on this show.
In the middle of everything else, I decided to make a new hatband for my new hat. If anyone ever tells you that sewing suede is easy, feel free to call them a liar to their face.

Gill and I have been looking for some new bookcases, and we came across this company that seems to offer what we’re looking for. We asked for some samples of their available finishes and we got this thick envelope full of 3.5″ squares of stained plywood. We looked, deliberated, tried them out underneath some books, and decided to have a look at a few of the finishes we didn’t get the first time around.
So today we got another thick envelope full of plywood samples. It’s like we’re opening a new pack of the biggest trading cards, though I have to wonder what kind of candy would come with these cards.

The death of KeithRichards
KeithRichards, my aggressive, immortal, guitar-playing* zebra danio has just died at the age of six and a half years. He had a good life – he was top of the tank, leader of the pack, and didn’t take guff from anyone, not even fish five times his size. He was the last of the original fish, the ones who started the tank when I got it so long ago.
I couldn’t bring myself to toss him in the compost like all the others over the years, so I buried him out in the backyard.
