Day Five – The Middle Segments
Overall, I really really enjoy the adventures of Amelia Earheart, Fearless Flyer! My favorite adventure among those was probably Vild Vild Vest, because the line “he’ll live to unnecessarily translate another day” is just classic.
I really enjoyed the Tales from the Black Lagoon and all its spinoffs. Maybe someday the Bens will close out those stories.
But my very favorite I actually make people listen to this segment is the Philip Fathom, Deep Sea Detective from the 2012 Christmas on Mars. I get a real kick out of Hal Lublin’s portrayal of Philip Fathom, and hearing that paired with a holiday poem and Tom Foolery (voiced so perfectly by Zachary Levi that I had to check they hadn’t somehow convinced Mark Hamill to do his Joker voice) just made my day.
Day Twenty – Adventurekateers
Let’s be honest, I’d probably end up hanging out with Patrick most of the time. I’d probably be in charge of keeping the refrigerator clean would drive Captain Laserbeam nuts with “Well, how about this pastrami sandwich, is that yours Captain Laserbeam?
