Some of my favorite memories as a kid were going to the local drive-in with my family. Watching the movies, the trailers, the weird old ads for ‘Shrimp-O’s the shrimp roll’ at the concession stand, the oddly-paired double feature. I was heartbroken the summer it failed to re-open and devastated when it was torn down. Honda is sponsoring a project to help the remaining drive-ins across the US convert their projectors to digital so they can remain open.
