Just got back from Invited Dress for Spring Storm. It feels good to have that over with. I’ve learned a lot working on this show. I’ve had some doubts. I’ve had some nights where I came home and thought “Dear God why am I doing this?” But tonight made it all worthwhile. I saw the show, I took some minimal notes, and I was happy with it.
So were a bunch of other people. It was really satisfying to hear audible gasps when the second act opened up with the lantern lights. It was also really nice to get all those compliments after the show. No less than a half dozen folks told me how much they loved the show and enjoyed the lighting. “Intimate, romantic, and beautiful” were some of the words used. Getting comments like that really make it worth it.
